Sad but true... Yet another verse packed with wisdom: "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king..." The U.S. has become the land of the blind, and we are blinded by lies from our politicians, government backed and moderated reporting from the media, and a wealth of entertainment to distract us from what is really happening in our country and in the world abroad. Our education system continues to reduce its standards while private institutions like Yale and Harvard climb ever higher and increase the gap in education between our elite rulers (presidents who all graduate from yale and harvard and other ivy league schools) and the governed masses (many of whom do not graduate college and learn less in 12 years of schooling than most europeans and asians learn in 8 ).
